Inside Out (adults only please)

Inside Out
by Lauren Dane is a for adults only title.   I was really touched by the strong emotion conveyed in this book and felt a rapport with the characters even though I am unfamiliar with the prior books in the series.  There are sizzling scenes of intimacy but there is also a gentle wooing of a painfully damaged woman as well as joyful glimpses of others who have found their 'happy ever afters'.  The strength of the bonds between those who are related through both blood and shared experiences are beautifully depicted in this wonderful tale.  The hurt conveyed by the intolerance that breaks up a family reminds us all to be careful how we judge those around us.   The beautiful romance between the main characters (Ella and Andrew) is depicted in their actions towards each other as well as through the small tokens and wonderful love letters that they bestow upon each other.  I was disappointed to read other reviews who complain that this book is boring.  I found it to be a mesmerizing read filled with realistic characters who share their joys and sorrows with the reader.  My Amazon review is at this link under ELF2060.  This book is part of a series that includes Laid Bare, Coming Undone, and Never Enough.  (Aren't these covers impressive?)
I look forward to having the opportunity to read them and become acquainted with the stories behind the strong ties that exist between the three women who serve as the focal points for these tales and the men who love and are loved by them.

Even better, Inside Out is available for a reduced price at Amazon at the time of the writing of this blog.

  1. I love her books. She does a really good job of enthralling us right from the beginning of the book and keeping us engaged throughout the entire story.
